📍 Taking place at VU Griffioen, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

For our third meetup, we’re taking a personal journey through Nobel history! Choose one laureate who received the prize in your birth year and introduce us to their story and the work that earned them the award.

Our four categories:
⚛️ Physics · 🧪 Chemistry · 🧬 Physiology or Medicine · 📊 Economics

🎤 The format
Every participant prepares a 3–5-minute presentation. Tell us about:

👤 The person: Who is your laureate, and what is their story?
💡 The discovery or contribution: What earned them the prize? Explain the central idea in simple terms.
🕰️ The historical relevance: Why was their work groundbreaking?
🌍 The relevance today: How does it still influence science, society or everyday life?

There will be plenty of room for questions, discussion and exchanging ideas. No specialist background needed—just curiosity and a little preparation! 🧠💬
