Startups
Energy Young ProfessionalsJoin us on Thursday, November 26th, for our next Energy Young Professionals networking evening in Amsterdam!
This time, we'll have the pleasure of welcoming one of the founders of Equalizer as a guest speaker, who will introduce his new startup, share his entrepreneurial journey and stay with us for a Q&A session.
About Equalizer
Due to industrial electrification, large EU manufacturers already have available 39GW of total demand-side response and this number is expected to grow significantly from now until 2060.
However factories, in particular smaller ones, are wary of the production and maintenance risks and suspicious of the benefits. Equalizer combines the knowledge of factory stakeholders and processes, and of spot market and ancillary services to find flexibility on the ground, convince operators and CEO, and support them in the execution. Equalizer positions itself as the bridge between two worlds speaking different languages: the manufacturing world and the energy market world; to deliver the flexibility the grid needs.
After the presentation and Q&A, we'll continue with our usual informal networking evening, bringing together young professionals from across the energy sector.
